Recommendations
With an Eye on Our Planet Earth
  • Incorporate re-cycling practices from K-12 school settings.
  • Create strategies on preserving the resources on our planet Earth.
  • Adopt re-cycling systems on international, national, and local levels.
  • Adopt a culture of sustainability through curricula and the practice of recyling.
  • Everyone should plant a tree at least once a year to continue to replenish our Earth’s ecosystems and sustainability of clean air.
  • Plant more gardens.
  • Learn how to feed yourself.
  • Global education should be included in grades K-Higher Education in schools across the world.
  • International service learning should be incorporated into secondary education and higher education curricula across the globe.
  • Volunteerism on international, national, and local levels promoting and providing service learning projects for all levels of schools should be included in currula across the globe.
  • International exchange programs for faculty and students from grades 9-12 and higher education should be included across the globe.
  • International corporation partnerships should be fostered as a source for furtheirng the goals of international student and faculty exchanges across the globe.
  • Governments should help subsidize international exchange programs.
  • Funding and monitoring of how funds are spent on educational programs need to be accounted for on a regular basis.
  • Global education needs to include and foster minority and indiginous languages.
Resolutions
  • Require international corporations, governments, and world organizations to take responsibility in taking care (prevention and action) of natural and manmade disasters of the planet.
  • Insure that individual and group, national and international governments build and maintain measures to reduce pollution and the abuse of the environment.
  • Require the integration of global education curricula on all levels of learning in formal and informal settings.
  • Establish policies of inclusion of cultural studies, minority and indigenous languages, and a system of knowledge of beliefs, traditions, and values.
  • Require all institutions of society to adopt a plan of action in the care of Our Planet Earth and the Human Family.
